Vision
To be the most trusted partner in training, assessment, and compliance, raising standards of competence, safety, and excellence across industries.
About IMP
IMP brings together experienced maritime professionals, structured assurance methods, technical support, and training-linked capability development in one focused platform.
Who We Are
International Maritime Professionals Inc. is a specialized marine assurance, technical support, and maritime capability development company established to serve shipowners, ship managers, tanker operators, underwriters, charterers, and other maritime stakeholders.
As an affiliate of COMPASS Training Inc., IMP extends the COMPASS ecosystem beyond maritime training and into practical marine services that support safer, stronger, and more reliable vessel operations.
IMP was developed in response to the growing need for structured support in vessel operations, technical management, compliance readiness, vetting preparation, shipboard execution, and owner-side project supervision.

Shared Direction
IMP operates within the shared direction of the COMPASS Group while extending the ecosystem into marine assurance, technical support, and maritime capability development.
To be the most trusted partner in training, assessment, and compliance, raising standards of competence, safety, and excellence across industries.
To serve professionals, organizations, and communities through quality, globally recognized training, assessment, and compliance services that strengthen capabilities, protect lives, and prepare people for a changing world.
To help maritime organizations move from findings to readiness through structured audits, inspections, technical supervision, system reviews, onboard training, and professional development programs.

Our Team Profile
IMP operates through a core leadership team and a vetted network of maritime and technical professionals. Its pool includes licensed Master Mariners, Chief Engineers, marine auditors, technical superintendents, project supervisors, engineers, and specialist consultants.

Our Long-Term Direction
IMP’s immediate focus is on scalable, advisory-led marine assurance and technical support services. The longer-term pathway may expand from PMS monitoring and compliance support into broader technical management and third-party ship management services.
Manila-based operations provide access to qualified maritime talent and a cost-competitive platform for regional service delivery.
IMP provides independent advisory and technical support services. Its services do not replace statutory inspections, Classification Society surveys, Flag State functions, Recognized Organization functions, or official certification processes unless separately and formally authorized through appropriate written arrangements.
